Ingredients

1 box Barilla Oven-Ready Lasagne
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 to 3 tbsp white truffle oil, to taste
Cooking spray or oil
3 to 4 cups Porcini mushrooms chopped

For the Red Sauce Layer

5 3/5 cups store-bought marinara sauce

For the truffle Béchamel Sauce

6 cups milk
7 tbsp all-purpose flour
8 tbsp unsalted butter
1 to 3 tbsp white truffle oil, to taste

Method

Step 1

Make the Béchamel Sauce: 1.In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. 2.Whisk in the flour to form a roux and cook for 1–2 minutes until lightly golden. 3.Slowly pour in the milk, whisking constantly to prevent lumps. 4.Cook for 6–8 minutes until thickened and creamy. 5.Stir in 1–3 tablespoons of white truffle oil to taste. Set aside.

Step 2

Assemble the Lasagna: 1.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). 2.Lightly grease a 13x9-inch baking dish. 3.Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over the bottom. 4.Place 3 sheets of Barilla Oven-Ready Lasagna sheets on top. 5.Add another layer of marinara sauce, then a layer of truffle béchamel. If desired, add sauteed mushrooms. 6.Repeat the layering: lasagne sheets → marinara → béchamel → optional sauteed mushrooms, until you've used the full box of pasta. 7.Finish with a final layer of lasagne sheets, a generous coating of both sauces, and top with shredded mozzarella.

Step 3

Bake: 1.Cover the dish with a sheet of greased foil. 2.Bake for 30 minutes covered, then remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes uncovered. 3.Broil on high for 3–5 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

Step 4

Rest and Serve: Let the lasagna rest for 15 minutes before cutting. This helps the layers set and makes serving easier.
