| 1 box | Barilla Oven-Ready Lasagna |
| 3 | leeks |
| 1 lb | Italian sausage |
| 2 tbsp | extra virgin olive oil |
| 8 tbsp | butter |
| 6 cups | milk |
| 7 tbsp | flour |
| 1 cup | Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, grated, 2 tbsp reserved |
| 2 tbsp | Italian parsley, chopped |

Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Step 2
Clean and cut the leeks into small squares.
Step 3
Remove casing from sausage and crumble in a pan with olive oil. Brown for five minutes. Stir in the leeks and cook for 5 more minutes.
Step 4
Melt butter in a saucepan, then add flour and cook for 3 minutes. In a separate saucepan, bring milk to boil, then stir in the butter and flour mixture. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Mix sausage and leeks with the bechamel sauce, parsley, add Parmigiano Reggiano, reserving 2 tbsp of cheese on the side.
Step 6
Spoon a little bit of bechamel sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan.
Step 7
Build a total of five layers using three sheets of Barilla Oven-Ready Lasagna and ¼ of the sauce mixture for each layer, ending with the sauce on the top layer.
Step 8
Sprinkle top layer with the remaining Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, cover with aluminum foil and bake. After 30 minutes, uncover and let the top brown for 10 more minutes.
Step 9
Allow the lasagna to rest for 15 minutes before serving.
